A new website is being constructed for for archive material relating to the 1970s squatting and community campaigns in the area of Euston in London known as Tolmers Village.
The central feature is an archive of contemporary photographs which have been digitised and made available for the first time. There is also an extensive archive of press cuttings and newsletters.
Early in 2021 the editors, Patrick Allen and Nick Wates, started testing the site with people featured in the photos with a view to organising a launch event as soon as possible.
Exhibitions of the material and reunion events are being planned for when the pandemic allows.
The stylish logo for the website, designed by Jordan Chatwin, is based on the unusual footprint of the old Tolmers Square which was demolished in 1979.
