Programme of action

Part of an exhibition at the Tolmers Village Association shop, 1974

PANEL TEXT

Why do we need the TVA

What are its aims?
To represent the interests of the people who live and/or work in the Tolmers Square area in the face of redevelopment.

The people who control Tolmers Village are only interested in maximising their profits, or in winning elections. They do not appear to care about the people who live and work here. They should not be allowed to redevelop the area without our consent.

We all have a common interest – to make Tolmers Village a better place to live and work in.

We cannot do this individually
We must join together

The TVA is an organisation which enable everyone here to have some control over what happens.
