Orlando Gough is a composer (and sometimes lyricist, libretttist, music director, MC, recording engineer, cookery writer), who writes operas, choral music, music-theatre, music for dance and theatre, and creates large-scale site-specific work.
He has recently made Ready to Drop, a sound intallation on the basketball court on Brighton seafront, and written Weather The Storm, an opera based on the experiences of stroke survivors, and Coming and Going, a book about Brighton, where he lives.
Orlando squatted at 117 Drummond Street in 1974 and then squatted at 68 Warren Street in 1975 where he lived until 1984.
